Test Results

Test Results

Please telephone after 2pm for all test results as the receptionists are busy dealing with more urgent calls during the morning.

The receptionist will be able to pass on the result to you provided that it has been viewed by a doctor, but they are not qualified to interpret the results.

You will need to give 2-3 days for most blood and urine samples to be tested and for the results to returned to the practice. X-rays can take a week to return.

Note that the practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you take your test you will be told how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice. It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

You can register to view your results on-line. The registration process is similar to that for booking appointments or ordering prescriptions. Please come to the reception desk in Kirkby Lonsdale with some photo identification. We will then be able to set this up.
