Travel Vaccines

What travel vaccines do we offer?

The Surgery provides NHS travel vaccinations free of charge. Please contact us to request a questionnaire for completion at least 4 weeks prior to travel. Once we receive your form back a nurse will then phone you to discuss further and book you an appointment. Please refer to the websites 'fit for travel' or 'NATHNAC' for relevant information and to see which vaccinations you need for your trip.

NHS vaccinations available are:

* Hepatitis A

* Typhoid

* Tetanus

* Poliomyelitis

* Cholera

* Paratyphoid

* Smallpox

It is important you give us the 4 weeks notice as some of the above vaccines need to be specially ordered in.

Please note: Non NHS travel vaccinations are not available at the surgery. The private vaccinations need to be booked at a private travel clinic. Our nearest one is Healthub in Lancaster and they can be contacted on: 01524 580999. www.healthub.org.uk
